Measure from any unobstructed sighting position
and at any heighton the tree-stump, DBH or
merchantable height.
Two pentaprisms, mounted in a tubular metal frame,
permit simultaneous viewing along pararell lines of sight.
The prism on the left side is fixed while the right prism is
movable along the measuring scale.
The image of the right side of the stem as viewed through
both prisms can be alligned with the leftside.
At the alignment position、the outside bark diameter
of the stem may be read directly from the meassuring scale.
Measures diametera 7 cm to 62 cm.
Avccurate to +/- 2 mm.

合わせるだけで直径が測定できます。
●胸高直径と任意の高さの直径を精密に測定できます。
●クリノメータを取り付ければ、測定値を補正でき
正確な上部直径を測定できます。
●高精度 専用三脚を使用すれば±2mmで測定可能
●測定範囲：75mm ～620 mm
ペンタプリズムキャリパーの使い方
* キャリパーから 眼を 7～8cm 離して 覗きます。
* スロットの上部から幹の右端を視認します。
* スロットの下部から幹の左端を視認します。
* 可動プリズ（指針）を滑らせて
幹の右端と幹の左端が
垂直2本線の中間で一直線に並ぶ位置で
指針を止め目盛を読み取ります。
* 三脚を使用すればさらに正確に読み取れます。（±2mm/ 距離17mにて ）
◆手持ちで測定で生じる誤差5～6mmは実用上問題ないが
より精密な測定が必要ならハンドルつきの油圧式三脚をおすすめします。
